For over 15 years, El Sereno Community Arts has uplifted Latine heritage through the arts, mental health, and storytelling. Rooted in El Sereno and reaching neighboring communities, we celebrate culture while addressing community well-being. From vibrant workshops to public art projects, our programs honor tradition, provide creative outlets for all ages, and create meaningful job opportunities in the arts.

As the producers of the largest cultural event in the community, we bring thousands together to celebrate identity, resilience, and joy through immersive artistic experiences. Our programming supports emerging artists, strengthens community bonds, and fosters healing through creativity and shared stories.

That's why we proudly collaborate with Latine and immigrant-focused organizations to empower artists and performers from immigrant and mixed-status families. Through festivals, showcases, and public art projects, we regularly book Latine performers, host cultural workshops, and provide platforms for storytelling that honor our heritage. Our events not only celebrate tradition but create paid opportunities for local artists, elevating their voices while strengthening community pride.

Equally, we are committed to uplifting LGBTQ+ communities through collaboration with queer-led nonprofits, booking queer performers, and curating showcases that center LGBTQ+ stories and art. From drag performances to visual art exhibitions, we provide space for queer creativity to flourish and for all community members to connect through shared experiences.
